This is a behavior designed to appease (slow movement, low head & tail, lip licking & no eye contact) and offered Clay Matthews Shirt because he fears a correction/punishment. Maybe not something he has experienced at the hands of this lady, but definitely a dog who is anxious, fearful and expecting punishment for his actions. Very sad! For whatever reason he feels he needs to tiptoe (sad) I would put some throw rugs down for him and or move his food where he won’t feel the need to tiptoe. That’s not normal. You can see the stress in his face. Amazing what people think is funny. Lyme disease is one thing I wonder about. I feel this dog may be in pain.
